A supplier list, not a shopping list
Searches for Alibaba spreadsheets pick up "clothes", "cologne", "discord", "reddit", "template" and "2025" as modifiers. These lists differ from the agent sheets on the rest of this site: they collect suppliers on Alibaba.com, the group's business-to-business marketplace, rather than individual items to buy one at a time. Each row is usually a factory or trading company with a product type, a price range and a minimum order quantity.
That changes what the list is good for. It's a starting point for contacting suppliers, comparing quotes and ordering samples, not for adding a single hoodie to a cart.

Clothes: minimums, quotes and samples
Clothing suppliers on Alibaba.com list a minimum order quantity (MOQ) and tiered prices that fall as quantity rises. The price on the listing is often the lowest tier. A sample, usually charged and shipped separately, is the normal first step before any bulk order.

Cologne lists
"Alibaba spreadsheet cologne" appears in Spain and France. These lists collect fragrance suppliers, often of scents described as inspired by famous perfumes. Two warnings apply. Perfume contains alcohol, which most air lines treat as a restricted good, so shipping options are limited and some agents refuse it. And a product that copies a brand's name, logo or bottle infringes trademarks and can be seized. Fragrances sold under their own name with an "inspired by" description are a different and generally lawful category.
Fragrance is hard to ship and easy to get wrong legally; check both first.
Discord and Reddit groups
French and US users search "alibaba spreadsheet discord". Discord servers share supplier lists and warn about bad suppliers; Reddit threads do the same more publicly. Treat recommendations as leads. Verify a supplier on its Alibaba.com profile: years on the platform, verification badges, response rate and transaction history. A template for comparing supplier quotes
"Alibaba spreadsheet template" appears in US suggestions. When you contact several suppliers, quotes arrive in different formats and currencies, and a simple comparison sheet keeps them honest. Use one row per supplier and these columns:

The landed-cost column is the one that changes decisions: a supplier with a low unit price and "EXW" terms can end up dearer than one quoting delivered with duties paid.

Paying safely
Alibaba.com's Trade Assurance covers orders paid through the platform, for problems such as late shipment or goods that don't match the agreed specifications. It doesn't help if you pay a supplier by bank transfer outside the platform, which some suppliers will suggest. Write the specifications, quantities and delivery date into the order itself so a dispute has something to refer to.

Duties on small business orders
A sample or small order to the EU worth up to €150 pays VAT plus the €3 duty per item category in force since 1 July 2026; above €150, normal duty rates apply, and business imports may need an EORI number. Clothes samples through an agent
Some buyers send Alibaba.com samples to an agent's warehouse instead of straight home. That lets you combine a sample with other purchases from Taobao or 1688 and see warehouse photos before the parcel leaves China. Ask the supplier to ship domestically to the warehouse address the agent gives you, with your account code on the label, and confirm with the agent first that it accepts parcels it didn't buy itself; policies differ between agents.
